my venture into playing with leather making bracelets.
I was inspired by some of the work I have seen by Patricia Roberts-Thompson so I thought it would be fun to try playing with some leather and polymer clay. Here are my results.
1 far left was made using a repurposed leather cuff and a Stroppel cane, the 2nd on the right in back was a carved flower finished with alcohol inks and mica powders. Lastly front right I made faux turquoise beads and a focal bead using sunflower and butterfly canes.
With fall upon me and craft shows booming I probably won’t get much blogging done, But stay tuned I hope to start adding video tutorials by the beginning of 2015 if not sooner.
